Shagbark Farms Woodworking proudly builds handcrafted custom hardwood furniture from Iowa Red Oak, White Oak, Cherry, Hard Maple, Hickory and Walnut hardwoods.  The wood was harvested from local naturally expired hardwood trees.  Sawed to select grade boards then kiln dried to perfect moisture on a our farm in Wyoming, Iowa.

The designs are original and many times are made with a combination of Hardwoods to add contrast and one-of-a-kind uniqueness.  End grain designs are often used to add beauty and one-of-a-kind uniqueness.  

Arvin Danielson was driven by a passion to build heirloom furniture that will last many lifetimes.
